What is Tintobeit 9?
italbeit has been producing high quality pigment pastes for over 60 years and is known worldwide as a quality leader in this sector. The TINTOBEIT 9 series represents our main line of coloring pastes. The guiding principles that inspired their formulation can be summarized as follows:
- compatibility with a wide range of converters
- greater storage stability
- absence of sedimentation
- non-flammable products
- products that cannot be labeled for safety purposes
- absence of pigment separation
Characteristics
The basic binder is a thermosetting resin free of solvents and monomers which, in addition to giving the advantage of the absence of safety labelling, makes the 9 series compatible with the following systems: polyester, polyurea, epoxy and solvent-free acrylic.
Each batch is subjected to extensive and demanding testing to verify compliance with the specifications, in particular “delta E” and coloring power. The pigments used have been tested and selected through continuous and in-depth research to guarantee excellent wettability and grindability characteristics, as well as high stability and solidity characteristics. Another discriminating element in the selection of pigments is their safety profile. This philosophy has led to the complete elimination of pigments containing lead salts and heavy metals. Given the high number of basic pastes, with our tintometric system it is possible to reproduce almost all the chromatic shades, transparent or opaque, for interiors and exteriors. We are therefore able to supply pastes already in the same colour, or the bases and the relative tinting software.
