italbeit was born in 1946 thanks to the entrepreneurial spirit and foresight of Comm. Guido Bari who, thanks to the experience gained in the sector of chemical products, dyes and pigments, decided to start his own business by breaking away from the company of which he was director of the Italian branch: the Beit & Co. of Hamburg. The interest and passion for this innovative material were such as to push the Comm. Bari to invest financial and human resources in the research and development of products for its coloring and application. Thus were born the first italbeit formulations of coloring pastes and gel coats. Over time, all the other formulations were perfected, which today form part of the range of products with which italbeit is present both on the national and international markets.

The entrepreneurial spirit of the Comm. Bari is still present in the company and has been handed down from generation to generation, first with his daughter, Franca Bari, and now with his grandchildren, Consuelo Costantino and Corrado Costantino.
